So I just got done replaying the game recently and I just realized/thought about it more often...

Are Zabiltsky and Blazitsky really different characters or are they really the same person? While their are several other characters you can talk to in the game that are similar to each other (after all you can only do so much with the designs here) but they are the very least have some differences from each other. Not so much in the case of Blazitsky/Zablitsky, who are practically interchangeable.

What reasons are there to support this? Well for starters, both of them are high ranking KGB Agents and really share no notable differences other than their names. Even weirder, Blazitsky just apparently disappears all of a sudden and during the Girgoiry mission, suddently there's this guy (Zablitsky) who Crypto acts like he knows all of a sudden, despite the two (supposedly) having never met. Keep in mind, the only other times Crypto does something like this in the game is when he already has met/known the guy (case in point, General Armquist).

I also believe it would make more sense that Zablitsky is actually Blazitsky as a recurring theme throughout all of the Odd Jobs is how Crypto gets hired by a few people to do odd jobs, only to betray them later (like with Sergeant Fauxhall). My theory on how come the names changes to "Zablitsky" was probably due to an error that was accidentally left in somehow (writing and editing does take a while IIRC), although I don't have an official word as to why at the moment and this is merely just speculation. Do you agree and what are your thoughts? Please post down below; this has been Gallibon, over and out.
