Probes are collectibles in Destroy All Humans! and it's remake, being a finate way of aquiring DNA and unlocking extras.

Overview

Probes are randomly located throughout invasion sites and are worth 75 DNA. Once they are all collected, one of six Furongami Unlockables will be made available.

In the 2020 remake, Probes act mostly the same as their counterparts with the only exception being that each is worth 100 DNA instead and being in different positions in the invasion sites. Malfunctioning Probes are the main focus in Race challenges, granting the same 100 DNA reward when touched.

Trivia

• During Aliens Stole My Brain Stem! collecting probes count toward the needed fresh DNA for the mission.
• When reaching the end of its course, if the player restarts a race the probe will not despawn. Touching it will end the race as normal.
