Power Suit Soldiers are one of the weapons developed by the Military in the first game.

Overview[]

The power suits are dark green bulky, robotic suits. Each unit is piloted by a tank commander, though their voices are changed into stereotypically monotonous robotic voices.

The suit posses three small side cannons on its forearms, which are the mech's primary means of attacking its enemy. Should this fail, or should the enemy be too close, the mech will unleash a stomp attack which knocks away any nearby human or object. Oddly enough, whether it's due to a glitch or not, the stomp can knock an airborne Furon into the ground.

History[]

The Power Suits make their first appearance in Santa Modesta, battling Crypto near the Radio Towers. The suits are only then appear in Area 42, Union Town, and Capitol City, usually in patrols. The suits were apparently discontinued as the Military doesn't feature them from then on in any other game. Due to the Furon takeover of America at the end of the first game, this may have been an intentional act of sabotage from either Pox or Crypto to ensure the human military would not pose a threat to them.

Armquist's Suit[]

General Armquist is shown to possess his own power suit, which resembles the standard suit save for a few details. The custom suit is silver and features an Army emblem on its chest. The suit also boasts a missile launcher which can instantly kill a Furon with a direct hit. This unique mech was reduced to charred chunks following Armquist's defeat in Union Town.
