James Grandee is a scientist who exposes hoaxes, myths, and urban legends.

James Grandee is a famous scientist who goes around exposing urban legends, now he's been setting his sights on the Lunarians. Deep Navel asks Crypto to kidnap Grandee and make him publicly admit that he believes in aliens. Crypto destroys the Francodyne nuclear plant to draw him out and abducts him in the Saucer and tortures him to achieve his end. He is later seen with Curt Calvin at the Sunnywood Bowl.
