A Furon shield
The Shield is used as protection from battle.
Overview[]
Crypto is protected from damage by a shield. Its energy bar is shown on the top right of the screen. It decreases every time Crypto gets hit, evading combat for a short period of time will give it time to recharge. If the shield is depleted, Crypto becomes vulnerable to death.

- Furon shield technology is also used to guard rooms, buildings, and even cities to keep unwanted visitors or dangerous people out, like on the Fourth Ring of Furon. Henri Crousteau reverse-engineered this technology from the crashed Furon ship to put one up to guard his Nexo cloning factory.
